The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development defines 17 interlinked global goals covering topics such as poverty, education and access to clean water, as a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Digital technologies have great potential to help achieve those goals, but it can also be at the root of exclusion and inequality. Join us and hear from researcher Dr. Serge Stinckwich on how United Nations University Institute in Macau, a UN global think tank on Information and Communication Technologies for Development, conducts UN policy-relevant research and generates solutions of key issues per UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development for the benefit of all, including for us in Macau.
