The Greater Bay Area comprises the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, and nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Guizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing.

Under "One country, Two systems", the tax laws and regulations in these three regions are different.
