Macau Special Olympics (MSO) x Zhuhai Autism Society (ZAS) — Hengqin-Macau Inclusive Fun Day
In line with FMCC’s commitment to fostering inclusive and impactful community initiatives, we are proud to announce our support for the Hengqin-Macau Inclusive Fun Day—a special event dedicated to promoting social integration and family bonding for individuals with intellectual divergence. Made possible through the 2025 FMCC Gala Funds, this initiative brings together music, sports, and community engagement to create a meaningful day of connection and empowerment.
Organized in partnership with Macau Special Olympics (MSO) and Zhuhai Autism Society (ZAS), this event builds on ZAS’s annual Sports Day, expanding its reach to include cross-border participation from Macau and the Greater Bay Area. Through interactive music therapy, adaptive sports activities, and parent-child collaborations, the Fun Day aims to break down barriers, celebrate abilities, and open doors to future opportunities. Join us in making inclusion a reality, one joyful moment at a time.
About Macau Special Olympics (MSO):
Macau Special Olympics (MSO) is a recognized program under Special Olympics International. Founded by a group of volunteers devoted to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID), MSO was officially established and registered as a non-profit organization in Macau in 1987. Its Sports Department offers year-round training and competitions to improve health, confidence, and social inclusion, while Social Welfare programs collaborate with Macau authorities to provide lifelong assistance.
About Zhuhai Autism Society (ZAS):
Zhuhai Autism Society (ZAS) is an NGO & NPO jointly established by parents of children with autism in March 2010, and has been legally registered by Zhuhai Civil Affairs Bureau, with Zhuhai Disabled Persons' Federation as supervisor. With the mission to “create a better life for people with special needs,” ZAS offers research, parent training, psychological support, public awareness campaigns, and advocacy to empower autistic individuals and their families.
