Speaker:  Dr. Alexander Kocsis, Of Counsel and Adjunct Professor Of Law and Business

About 6 months ago President Trump authorized $34 billion USD in punitive tariffs on Chinese exports to the United States, with US$16 billion more to come. Four days later, China retaliated in kind and claimed that the United States has started “the biggest trade war in economic history”. But what does this mean for companies around the globe and in particular, in Macau and Hong Kong? To answer this question, Alexander Kocsis will provide a framework that offers both explanatory and predictive value. With this, businesses people, entrepreneurs, and innovators can position themselves to better take advantage of what will prove to be one of the most definitive events in recent history.
