FMCC Hengqin-Macau Inclusive Fun Day
Thanks to the generous support from our friends and members at the 2025 FMCC Charity Gala Dinner, the FMCC Hengqin-Macau Inclusive Fun Day was successfully held on November 29th at Harrow Lide School Hengqin, bringing together around 400 participants, volunteers, guests, and staff.
This meaningful event, supported by FMCC Charity Gala Dinner Funds and co-organized by Macau Special Olympics and Zhuhai Autism Society, brought together families from Macau and the Greater Bay Area for a day dedicated to fostering inclusion for neurodiverse individuals.
The morning featured interactive track-and-field activities where FMCC members and volunteers partnered with special athletes as Unified Partners, creating moments of connection and joy through sport. The highlight of the closing ceremony was the unveiling of the "Tree of Inclusion"—a symbolic artwork created from fingerprints of all participants, representing each person's commitment to acceptance and understanding.
In the afternoon, participants explored Traditional Chinese Medicine culture at venues including the Hengqin Pientzehuang Museum, where families experienced herbal tea therapy and handcrafted wellness tea sachets together.
From morning sports to afternoon cultural immersion, this event demonstrated the power of community collaboration in building a more inclusive society. Special thanks to all volunteers and Ms. Ada Lo, FMCC Board Member, for coordinating the event and organizing volunteer training sessions at Harrow.
