2026 Macao Startup Club Town Hall Meeting
This weekend, the Macao Startup Club (MSC), led by its President James Si Tou, hosted its 2026 Town Hall Meeting at the Macau Youth Entrepreneurship Incubation Centre. The MSC team shared an exciting roadmap for the year ahead, including a brand-new membership programme and a strong line-up of initiatives to further energise Macau’s startup community.
FMCC was pleased to take part in the event alongside several FMCC members, and to confirm the continuation of our strategic partnership with MSC, after a successful mentorship program in 2025. As part of this strengthened collaboration, FMCC Chairman Rutger Verschuren will also join MSC as a Board Advisor, supporting the club’s mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Macau.
The Town Hall featured a panel discussion with José Alves, FMCC Board Member and Dean of the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau, who shared valuable insights on the evolving startup ecosystem and the potential impact of venture capital activity following the recently enacted Investment Funds Law.
FMCC looks forward to continued collaboration with MSC and ecosystem partners to help shape the next chapter of innovation in Macau.
