FMCC and Macao Startup Club Launched Mentorship Program

On July 5, the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) and the Macao Startup Club (MSC) officially launched the mentorship program designed to connect experienced business leaders with the next generation of entrepreneurs.

This initiative creates space for two-way learning—where seasoned professionals share their experience and insights, while young talents bring fresh ideas, digital fluency, and new ways of thinking. It is about building meaningful connections that benefit everyone involved.

The Orientation Day, held at MSpace, brought together mentees, mentors, entrepreneurs from various industries, and media partners. FMCC Chairman Rutger Verschuren delivered an engaging keynote speech, highlighting the importance of collaboration between generations. He noted that today’s youth, with their strong digital skills and innovative mindset, are the future leaders of our community. Rutger also emphasized the concept of two-way learning, where both mentors and mentees have the opportunity to share each other’s insights and grow together. “This initiative is about building connections and fostering mutual growth,” he said.

We have brought together eight experienced mentors who will guide and support young entrepreneurs through various sessions and workshops in the months ahead.
