FMCC x MSC Mentorship 2025 Demo Day

On September 13, 2025, the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) and Macao Startup Club (MSC) proudly concluded our collaborative Mentorship 2025 Program with an inspiring Demo Day at City University of Macau, bringing together mentors, mentees, and supporters who've been part of this rewarding collaboration.

The event showcased six innovative projects that truly impressed everyone present. From MakerMods' AI robotics platform to Tiny Boba's sustainable cat café concept, the creativity and business acumen demonstrated by our mentees was remarkable.

FMCC representative Ada Lo shared Chairman Rutger Verschuren's perspective that this program created genuine two-way learning - where both mentors and mentees gained valuable insights from each other. This exchange across generations is exactly what we hoped to achieve when we launched this initiative.

We're particularly grateful to our partners at Macao Startup Club for their outstanding collaboration. Their energy, expertise and commitment to nurturing local talent aligned perfectly with FMCC's mission to foster innovation and business development in Macau. James Si Tou and the entire MSC team have been exceptional partners throughout this program, bringing a fresh perspective and deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.

The projects presented included:

• MakerMods – Build any AI robot in minutes, not weeks

• Swipescout – Tinder for jobs with video resumes for Gen Z

• Macau From Above – Drone photography service

• Tiny Boba – Cat café with trained cats and sustainability concept

• VeggieBox – Pre-made vegetarian dishes for healthy solutions

• Mindlubella – Brain training for wellness and performance

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the mentors who generously shared their time and expertise, City University of Macau for hosting us, and of course, the talented mentees who embraced this opportunity with such enthusiasm.

As we continue supporting Macau's economic diversification, FMCC looks forward to more collaborations that bridge different sectors and generations. The success of this Demo Day reminds us that when experienced business leaders connect with emerging entrepreneurs, amazing things happen!
