Macau-France Research Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony
On May 8th, 2025, the Macau-France Research Cooperation Agreement signing ceremony was held at the Government Headquarters in Macau, marking a significant milestone in scientific collaboration between Macau and France. The agreement, signed by the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macau SAR Government, Mr. Tai Kin Ip, and the Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macao, Ms. Christile Drulhe, covering AI, space science, renewable energy, and more, underscores Macau’s economic diversification and technological advancement.
FMCC Chairman Mr. Rutger Verschuren and board representatives were invited to the signing ceremony along with Acting Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR, Mr. Sun Xiangyang, academic representatives, technology enterprises, Macau European Chamber of Commerce representatives and nearly 40 other distinguished guests. FMCC is proud to support stronger ties between France and Macau in innovation and research.
