The New Space Economy in the Greater Bay Area

On September 26th, FMCC had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Cédric R.G. Thiry, Founder, CEO and CTO of EmTDLab, at The FMCC Breakfast Talk Rendez-Vous.

Mr. Thiry highlighted the Greater Bay Area's growing prominence in commercial space innovation, with Macau contributing through education and tourism potential, Hong Kong driving entrepreneurship, and Shenzhen providing manufacturing expertise.

He emphasized how the evolving space economy is shifting from government initiatives to private sector engagement, noting over 500 companies across China now involved in space-related activities.
