As Macau strategically pivots from its gaming roots to prioritize ‘Big Health’ as a core industry, it is positioning itself as a dynamic hub for the high-value medical tourism market, a sector primed for significant global growth.

At the FMCC luncheon, Ms. Echo Chan, President of the Macau European Chamber of Commerce, will discuss how this strategic shift opens unprecedented avenues for the Europe-China partnership. Her presentation will explore key bilateral trade dynamics and the growing trend of Chinese direct investment into Europe while delivering practical recommendations for joint projects and market entry strategies.

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how Macao and the Hengqin Deep Cooperation Zone function as an integrated service platform and strategic gateway, facilitating joint ventures and technology transfer. More importantly, they will leave with actionable strategies for turning regional policy shifts into concrete partnerships and competitive advantage in this expanding health corridor.
