Dr. Tang Yu Ming is a Resident Fellow at the University of Macauโs Cheng Yu Tung College and a Senior Instructor in the Faculty of Science and Technology. With a Ph.D. in Physics from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he specializes in materials science, nanotechnology, and commercializing academic research. Dr. Tang has guided multiple student startups to success, including BioPeTech (sustainable pet products), 2048 Funny Eye Brewery (Macauโs craft beer pioneer), and Fit Me (3D martial arts modeling). His teams have won 18 awards in entrepreneurship competitions, securing over HKD 1.2 million in funding.
Beyond startups, Dr. Tang collaborates across disciplinesโfrom studying anticancer compounds with health researchers to developing AI-driven cat recognition systems. His unique expertise bridges the worlds of cutting-edge science and real-world business.
