Speaker's bio:

Dr. Gérald Estadieu is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) - Macao. With a Master's Degree in Signal and Image Processing from the Université d’Orléans (France) and a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts from the Catholic University of Portugal, his research and artistic activities focus on Soundscape, Spatial Audio, and Interactivity. Dr. Estadieu is a pioneer in using Ambisonics multichannel playback systems to create immersive audio experiences. He founded the fablab at USJ and co-founded the first fablab in Macau. His work has been exhibited internationally, integrating interactive technology and digital fabrication to redefine artistic and sensory experiences.
