In this talk, Peter Morgan, P.D.S.M., former Commander of the Hong Kong Police Hostage & Crisis Negotiation Unit (HCNU) with 24 years of front-line experience as a hostage negotiator, shares insights and strategies from the world of high-stakes crisis negotiations.

While business negotiations rarely involve life-or-death decisions, the techniques used by HCNUs to build credibility, rapport, and trust in time-critical, high-pressure situations can be surprisingly effective in non-crisis negotiating situations. Peter will reveal practical, well-tested strategies and tactics from the world of hostage and crisis negotiations that you can immediately apply in your own professional negotiations – helping you achieve better outcomes, even under pressure.
