Mr. Howard Paley is an actor, director, and drama coach with 30+ years of international experience in public speaking training. Born in Japan and fluent in four languages, he blends theater techniques with executive communication, teaching at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and coaching corporate clients across Asia. His dynamic methodology helps professionals transform stage fright into commanding presence.

Part 1: Foundations of Impactful Communication

1.Syllabus: Presenting Components of Being an Impactful Speaker

· Pathways of Communication (POCs): Identifying the major tools of communication we all possess

· Building Presence and Credibility: How the audience perceives you

· Awareness & Building Presence and Credibility: How are you Projecting yourself?

· Toolkits: How to harness/use them efficiently to raise your communication skills to the next level

· Skills: Data vs. Storytelling, Use of Pauses/Silence, Grabbing & Holding Audience/Client Attention, Projecting Expertise, Reading the Room

2.Videos: Examples of efficient vs inefficient messaging

3.Exercise 1 (warm-up)

· Objective: Getting participants out of their comfort zones, implementing and building awareness.

· Activities: Identify how we each use the POCs and tools we have at our disposal to engage an audience.

Part 2: Applying and Integrating Skills

1.Exercise 2 (Warm-up):

· Objective: Continue and build process started in exercise 1

· Activities: Continue and build process started in exercise 1

2.Exercise 3 (Presentation):

· Objective: Applying learned skills to a sample speech.

· Activities: Design and deliver a group presentation with facilitator feedback (material will be provided by the facilitator).
